Coronavirus - Americans Stocking Up on Pot

Sales of marijuana-related products were up by as much as 92.5% when residents of seven San Fransico Bay Area counties were ordered to shelter-in-place.

Of course, that statistic alone is pretty wild, but what stood out to me as a professional researcher who spends a significant time working on marijuana-related studies (and many other public-health related projects) is how consumption behaviors have changed.

The rate at which cannabis-infused food and drink have risen outpaces smoking and vaping products. The increase in edible consumption could be related to health concerns, which tracks with our research.

Head over to The Economist to get the facts and figures.

Kevin is all about research. Qualitative, quantitative, UX, you name it. When he's not researching, he's to be found laying down beats in his studio and hanging out with his dogs (and girlfriend). Woof.
